Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a project and the team, assign tasks 
• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders
• Design data architecture, including data models and schemas
• Integrate data from various sources and systems
• Implement data pipelines and ETL processes
• Ensure data quality through validation and cleansing procedures
• Optimize performance of data engineering systems
• Collaborate with other teams, such as data science and analytics
• Communicate project progress and risks to the business 
• Maintain documentation of processes, systems, and solutions
• Continuously improve data engineering processes and technologies.
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Pytest, PyUnit, Alchemy, SQL, ), Spark, Airflow, Azure Databricks CI/CD
• Experience in leading teams
• Experience in Python
• Good knowledge of Data engineering solutions 
• Knowledge in Azure, Databricks, Spark 
• Expertise in at least few popular Python framework (like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Django, Flask, Pytest, PyUnit. Etc.
• Knowledge creating and consuming the REST API’s 
• Proven good problem-solving skills 
• Ability to write effective, re-usable code and a scalable code
• In-depth knowledge of performance tuning / optimizing data processing jobs, debugging time consuming jobs

Preferred Qualification:

• Microsoft Azure, (ADF, Azure Synopsis), GCP, Cloud Knowledge, Devops, Git
