Data Engineering Manager – ETL, Azure , Data Architect

*Design, develop, implement and maintain scalable ETL processes on Azure Cloud using Databricks and Azure Synapse dedicated pool
*implement systems and processes to monitor data quality
*Ad hoc analyses troubleshooting data-related issues
*Develop and maintain propriety data warehouse tools
*Offer technical guidance to internal teams and business partners
*Work with global team, business analysts and other data engineering teams to ensure alignment of requirements, methodologies and best practices
*Provides team with design feedback – focus on communication over documentation and direct contact with the team
*Provides technical guidance for design review, code review, test review, source code management, infrastructure needs, demos, and support for definition of done
*Technical guidance and mentoring to team members
*Coordinates coding best practices, and monitors architectural principals
*Provides application performance, quality, security, and risk based guidance; surface and collaborate with peers and other teams
*Assist with the troubleshooting and resolution of technical impediments

•Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in Computer Science.
•5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
•10+ years of hard-on ETL
•Advanced SQL knowledge, capable to write optimized queries for faster data workflows.
•Proven work experience in Spark, Python, SQL, Any RDBMS.
•Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Synapse Dedicated Pool, ADF, Azure Databricks, Delta Lakes, Power BI.
•Strong knowledge of Data Modelling techniques like Data Vault 2.0
•Experience in designing solutions for multiple large data warehouses with a good understanding of cluster and parallel architecture as well as high-scale or distributed RDBMS
•Must be extremely well versed with handling large volume data and work using different tools to derive the required solution.
•Understanding of CI/CD framework is an added advantage.
•Experience with Git / Azure DevOps
•Ability to interpret/write custom shell scripts. Python scripting is a plus.
•To be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
