The Sr. Manager Marketing Analytics will lead a high performing team of Analytics, Reporting and Data Science professionals. This role will be accountable to lead and manage the B2C Analytics & Data Science team that serves Member Engagement and Engagement Solutions Marketing Customer base. The team provides new build Enhancements and Production run support for all the B2C Analytics, Reporting, Data Analysis/Research and Data Science services to B2C Marketing business function. The team also builds, scores and retrains the B2C data science scoring models that are used by marketing team for optimal audience targeting. This role is expected to identify and initiate opportunities for innovation, data quality enhancements, process improvements and automation all contributing to enhancing the operational excellence of the team.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with business partners to understand their needs and collaborate to prioritize the competing needs
• Build and maintain roadmaps aligned to the identified short, medium, and long-term business needs
• Own and manage all B2C analytics, reporting and data science products (30+ Reports, 6 production data science models), B2C data analysis/research and 150+ annual service request to support B2C Marketing teams 40+ marketers
• Own plan, build and run aspects of various B2C data and analytics assets and related processes
• Guide team on use of machine learning techniques to develop targeting solutions
• Ensure compliance to Information security, Privacy and Data governance policies for data assets and processes
• Ensure implementation of data quality checks and validation processes to maintain the integrity and accuracy of data
• Manage analytics and data science team members with different functional and technical skill levels
• Create a respectful and growth-mindset environment for team members. Coach, guide, and support team members as needed

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of management experience leading data & analytics teams in most recent role
• 5+ years of running and delivering high quality data & analytics services to business partners
• 3+ years of managing team budget
• 2+ years of management experience of leading vendors in global onshore/nearshore/offshore model
• An analytics practitioner & leader with understanding of various data and analytics capabilities and technologies – Experience with Data Analysis, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Python.
• Proficient user skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Marketing Data & Analytics experience 
• Health Care Insurance experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
