Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor data science teams, working closely with junior data scientists to improve business processes using advanced data science tools & techniques
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand high-level business requirements and translate them into robust analytical solutions and strategies
• Drive exploratory data analysis and model development on large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business decisions
• Design and implement advanced data science algorithms and ensure the delivery of actionable insights that align with business goals, while overseeing the full development lifecycle from conceptualization to implementation and monitoring
• Manage cross-functional teams throughout the solution development lifecycle, ensuring collaboration between data scientists, engineers, and business units
• Lead stakeholder communication and manage leadership expectations, including presenting development plans, project updates, and ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Ensure best practices in documentation for production support, scalability, and transition readiness, maintaining high standards for project delivery and technical reporting
• Continuously enhance expertise in the US Healthcare domain and guide the team on domain-specific challenges and opportunities
• Influence data science strategy and contribute to long-term vision, innovation, and the improvement of data science methodologies across the organization
• Mentor and coach junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and helping to shape their career development
• Comply with company policies and any directives, including flexibility in work arrangements and adapting to evolving business needs, while actively participating in company-wide strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years hands-on experience of solving real world business problems leveraging data science tools
• Experience building NLP models and training data sets
• Working experience of NLP skills (like Text Classification/ Summarization/Entity Recognition/Natural Language Generation / Transfer Learning Concepts etc.)
• Sound knowledge of Text (Unstructured data) data handling & manipulation
• Programming: knowledge of R/Python with PYTORCH/TensorFlow, Knows how to leverage pre trained models (Via Transfer Learning)
• Proficient in MS Office tools as Excel/PowerPoint/Access
• Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven excellent problem-solving & story-telling abilities with analytical mindset
• Proven excellent interpersonal and team skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturity
