The Director of Business Analytics & Processes will create and perform analysis to drive operational efficiencies and strategic initiatives across the organization. This role will provide data analytics to better manage the day to day execution of AHN Operations initiatives and predict future needs.  The Director of Business Analytics & Processes will perform the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with stakeholders to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. The role will work closely with all business unit leaders, including but not limiting to AHN Executive team, Finance, Medical and Operational leadership, Clinical Dyad leadership, RBE and Optum cross-functional team leadership as a strategic support role.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of group practice, payers, budgetary needs and organizational structures
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with physicians and finance in change management
  • Knowledge of risk contracting/population health management and physician office practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership, financial and management skills and the ability to make business recommendations
  • Excellent financial and/or business analytic skills and ability to identify root cause of performance variances and partner with clinical leaders to development countermeasures
  • Knowledge of operations planning, budget planning, data collection, analysis, development of business and operational modeling and basic understanding of financial statements
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of a variety of software products/systems such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, EMR, etc. Excellent project management, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to IN and OH offices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with clinical care setting, medical groups, and/or payers

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
