In this role, you will be involved in developing innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support. Predominantly you will be designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver value to our organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain highly scalable microservices within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on Microsoft Azure Establish, refine and integrate CI/ CD, feature testing automation, performance testing as needed
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, public cloud infrastructure cost, best cloud practices, scalability, high availability
- Provide technical leadership, design and code review, serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science /Engineering/Science/Mathematics or related field with around 7+ years of experience in executing the .Net projects with 5+ years of experience in .Net Core, Angular, REST and Azure Cloud Certification, preferably Azure
- Senior Software Engineer I Position with about 8+ years of hands-on technical Experience in the .Net and Cloud technologies. Working Knowledge of executing the projects in the Agile Methodologies
- Be able to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and be able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialize it
- Design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made. Also write and review design document explaining overall architecture, framework and high level design of the application
- Ability to create, understand and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
- Be able to define in-scope, out-of-scope and taken assumptions while creating effort estimates
- Be able to identify and integrate well over all integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment
- Positions in this function deliver professional level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an external customer or end user
- Ability to operate within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines. Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems
- Ability to work closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
- Good understanding of Infrastructure as code. Identify production and non-production application issues
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with developing, implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting applications in the Azure Public Cloud
- Experience with developing applications for Azure and Azure resources like Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage and Message Queues
- Experience with NodeJS Angular UI Single Page Application (SPA) development
- Experience developing REST based web services and OAuth flows\
- Solid proficiency as a Software Engineer utilizing .NET CORE and C# to support as well as design, develop and deploy requested updates to new and existing cloud-based services
- Proficiency in UI development with an Angular Single Page Application (SPA)
- Ability to design and implement web services with security
- Ability to design and implement database schema
- Ability to design and development of well documented source code
- Development of both unit testing and system testing scripts that will be incorporated into the QA process
- Automating all deployment steps with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Jenkins Pipeline as Code (JPaC) concepts
- Do required POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
- Solid knowledge of build/deployment/unit testing tools
- Proven highly motivated team player and a self-starter
- Proven excellent verbal, phone, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Cloud-based architecture and concepts
- Solid knowledge of JSON
- Health care industry experience
