As a UX Designer, you will work closely with various studio disciplines, design leadership, principle designers, strategists, product and business stakeholders to create compelling UI/UX designs for various features and experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior designers, and create high quality experiences, deliverables such as flows, wire frames, story boards, interactive prototypes, etc.
- Take ownership on design execution on a set of features in a portfolio
- Review and QA experiences to ensure they are built as designed
- Comfort in ambiguity and changing user needs
- Effectively communicates (plans, approach & progress/status of designs and design ideas)
- In collaboration with other designers and stakeholders, contribute to the design vision
- Engaged in the review processes for tech feasibility, A11y, legal reviews etc.
- Support our research teams in the design and fielding of research studies, then translate user needs and research findings into usable design improvements and/or new opportunities
- Continually advocate for the user and ensure there is a shared understanding of the problems we are solving (Be the voice of the user in prioritization, new products and features)
- Creating multiple designs options and testing or modifying based on user feedback (A/B testing, user testing, etc.)
- Demonstrates curiosity and growth mindset contributing to a product design environment that supports continuous learning and innovation
- Leverages best practice design principles and trends to contribute with insights and stellar user experiences
- Be a trusted design partner in a cross functional team (designers, engineers, product, researchers etc.), delivery designs on time and to the highest quality
- Collaborate and contribute reusable design components in partnership with Design System team
- Makes research and design decisions that takes into health equity considerations (including but not limited to: disability status, health literacy levels, demographics, cultural backgrounds, etc.) to improve healthcare access for all members
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands on experience with information architecture, interaction design, UX design or graphic design
- 2+ years incorporating user feedback in the design process (user research, NPS, Voice of the customer)
- 2+ years of experience with prominent industry design tools (Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Axure)
- 1+ years of experience building and/or utilizing personas to inform design decisions
- 1+ years of experience working in cross functional teams
- 1+ years of experience presenting to stakeholders
- Understanding of basic front end technologies such as HTML and CSS, and how does design comps translate to code
- Understanding of designing for Accessibility standards WCAG/508
