We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Software Engineer II with 1-3 years of experience in Scala and Spark. The ideal candidate will have solid programming skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for solving complex problems. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Scala and Spark. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and competitive
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in Scala and Spark
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks and tools
• Proven excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proven solid communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven to be self-motivated with a solid desire to learn and grow

Preferred Qualification:

• Solid programming skills and experience with other languages such as Java or Python
