Position Highlights

  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization for patients presenting in need of immediate care, and provide follow-up to monitor and assess risk.
  • Provide real time triage and assessment of a variety of behavioral health and substance use needs, and develop triage planning for patients requiring behavioral health treatment.
  • Provide brief behavioral health consultations to Pediatric Primary Care Providers and their patients.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams (i.e., referral department, medical social work team, medical care coordinators, etc.) to coordinate care for patients in the community.
  • Work collaboratively and help implement treatment plans with Reliant Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health Providers and the primary care team.
  • Enhance patient engagement by providing brief behavioral interventions such as motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. 
  • Opportunities to bring your innovative ideas to the table and build specialty work into the position. For example, trauma work, ADHD evaluations, skills-training and therapy groups, early childhood population, etc.
  • Hybrid model with remote and onsite time at one or more of our Reliant Pediatric locations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited school
  • Active, unrestricted licensure as a LMHC or LICSW to practice independently in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • 1-3 years of clinical Behavioral Health experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in EMR systems & technology
  • At least two years practice
  • Experience in substance use counseling
