The Support Tech, IT Identity Access will report to the Manager, IT User Access and work collaboratively with the IT Helpdesk team to efficiently manage the technical aspects of the employee lifecycle, including on-boarding new hires, re-hires and off-boarding departing employees. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and secure transition for employees during these processes. You will collaborate with various departments to successfully facilitate Episource workforce onboarding and offboarding employee technology resources.

Hours: This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday with the ability to be on call on the weekends.

Location: 500 W 190th St, Suite 400, Gardena, CA

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Workforce user account maintenance, including Microsoft Active Directory, SSO, application assignment
  • Prepare and ship equipment to new workforce member
  • Take active role in new hire orientation and support
  • Ensure asset inventory is maintained up to date
  • Retrieve equipment from terminated employees
  • Maintain HIPAA and HITRUST compliance
  • Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data
  • May be assigned other duties
  • Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures  
  • Ability to maintain a high level of service delivery, fostering team development, and contributing to the overall success of the Technology department
  • At times may provide direct supervision for assigned projects, and office equipment troubleshooting

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or 2+ years of experience in IT Support, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry
  • 2+ years of experience in IT Support, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry (If applicable)
  • 2+ years of experience with user account management, hardware/software deployment, and IT security best practices
  • 2+ years of experience with industry standards and practices
  • Intermediate level of experience in IT support, particularly in on-boarding and off-boarding processes
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook)

Soft Skills:

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • High level of ethics, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
