Senior Quality Consultant – Database SQL or PL and AccelQ or Selenium

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work in close partnership with Cross Functional and Automation Team
• Mentor Quality Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities
• Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for QA
• Communicate testing or daily status to Manager, Leads and stake holders
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Professional Experience in Manual Testing and Databases
• Hands on experience with Smoke, Functional, Regression, System Testing, Database Testing, UAT Testing and GUI testing
• Experience in Creating Test Plan, Detailed Test Scripts by creating the Test Cases based on Business Requirements and developing Test Scenarios to support quality deliverables
• Experience with creating the defects, documenting the defects, presenting the Defect Status reports, interacting with software developers to resolve the defects
• Experience with Test Management and Defect tracking tools like JIRA, Quality center / ALM
• Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies, techniques and tools
• Good Exposure on Database Testing, SQL or PL/SQL Concepts to perform Database Validations or to retrieve the data from database
• Well-versed with stages of Software Development (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle
• Proven ability to analyze the defects and able to create Root Cause Analysis
• Proven value added with the exposure on Automation tools like HP QTP / UFT, Selenium / Accel Q
• Good Exposure on Web based Health care Domain Applications
• Proven ability to support the customers in critical situations
