Duties: Looking for solid team members who are collaborative, self-starters, take ownership / accountability and drive results. The Architect will work collaboratively within teams of Capability Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Quality Analysts, and Tier 1 & 2 support personnel on MongoDB Platform-as-a-Service and open-source software to assess unmet/new business needs and solutions.

The Software Engineer will address vulnerabilities and manage MongoDB Enterprise and open-source software Percona Server for MongoDB in the Cloud and on-prem as prescribed. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creating platform as service (paas) Architecture & infra setup for opensource software
  • Lead the design and development of distributed Java-based applications
  • Ensure the architecture is scalable, robust, and meets business requirements
  • Application Delivery Process, Consulting, Effectiveness Measurement, Industry Knowledge, IT Industry: Trends & Directions, IT Standards, Procedures & Policies, Planning: Tactical, Strategic, Problem Solving
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / MCA / Msc / MTech
  • Azure Cloud Architect
  • 10+ years of experience across various tech stacks (Java/Python/Node/AWS/GCP)
  • 10+ years of experience working with technologies in full stack development
  • Enterprise solution architecture experience on-prem & cloud
  • Experience of working in Agile environment 
  • Hands on experience with Confluence, Jira, Jira Service Desk, draw.io.
  • Experience in GIT & Maven
  • Hands on experience with Rest based web services
  • Experience of working in a global environment
  • Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives
  • Experience in building Architecture for platform as a service on Azure
  • Expert in Azure cloud infrastrure as code using terraform
  • Hands on experience on Java/C++/Go languages
  • Solid programming experience
  • Experience on MongoDB Admin / MongoDB Ops Manager
  • MongoDB experience including LDAP set-up, database scaling, Shards, HA Strategies and back-up
  • Cloud Experience: Primarily Azure
  • Experience in writing MongoDB Schema using Mongos
  • Experience with setting and tuning MongoDB system parameters
  • Knowledge of Percona Server for MongoDB, Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), and Percona Backup for MongoDB (PBM)
  • Sound knowledge of SDLC processes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
  • Proven solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Proven excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven good communication and presentation skills
  • Proven good attitude and self-motivated
