**This full-time hybrid internship position will be available Summer 2025**

If you are located in the Washington, DC or Minneapolis/Saint Paul metro area, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the team in raising awareness of our health care scholarship program via targeted digital advertising to potential scholars. Research potential advertising outlets, support development of creative content, and maintain project calendar
- Help create executive summaries and other deliverables capturing the impact of our philanthropic programs and partnerships
- Conduct targeted research to assess emerging trends in corporate social responsibility, community health challenges and/ or new interventions for improving health and well-being to inform our programs and initiatives
- Support several special projects to enhance the team’s operations, such as creating new tracking tools and processes or helping prepare for team meetings and events

Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship
- Legally authorized to work in the US without any restrictions. Proof will be required
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or other related field
- Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Knowledge or experience in non-profit management or operations, social entrepreneurship, social responsibility or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Proven solid writing skills and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
- Proven well-organized with a demonstrated ability to learn new tools and processes in a dynamic environment

The hourly range for this role is $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
