We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Workspace Senior Manager to lead our global team in managing and optimizing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions both on-premises and in the cloud. The successful candidate will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of our virtual workspace technologies, including VMware Horizon, Citrix, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, NetScaler, and Island Browser. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on operational efficiency and strategic alignment. The Virtual Workspace Senior Manager will stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose and develop innovative solutions that support and grow our business. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a Virtual Workspace team in the design, implementation, and management of VDI and cloud solutions
• Research, assess, discover, and design new capabilities aligned with departmental goals and enterprise vision
• Develop and enforce best practices for managing virtual environments
• Collaborate with IT security teams to implement security policies and procedures specific to virtualized environments
• Participate in business case development for end-user computing capabilities and functions
• Work with capability leaders to facilitate technical roadmap creation
• Frequently advise and influence senior leaders in multiple departments
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and capability leaders in Agile delivery planning exercises and Scrum ceremonies
• Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to solve large-scale problems
• Create presentations and high-level architecture designs
• Manage and optimize infrastructure to meet internal financial targets
• Organize training sessions and seminars to enhance the skills of the virtual workspace team
• Oversee the development and maintenance of system documentation for all virtual environments
• Resolve escalated issues arising from operations, coordinating with other departments as necessary
• Ensure virtualization projects are completed within planned timelines and budgets
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience managing Unified Endpoint Management products
• Proven experience managing VDI environments, including VMware Horizon, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Solid understanding of cloud computing and virtualization software
• Familiarity with IT service management principles and frameworks such as ITIL
• Solid background in system architecture and design, including network, storage, and server virtualization
• Proven excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proven solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in virtualization technologies, including VMware, Citrix, and/or Cloud
• 7+ years in technology architecture or engineering field(s)
• 7+ years in either engineering or architecting end-user computing platforms
• Experience with cloud services management and operations
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools
• Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP)
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and/or Terraform
