The successful candidate for this role will have solid collaboration, analytical and communications skills. Ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions to non-standard problems, while providing clear explanations and information on difficult issues. Must deliver high-quality work while partnering with various departments and functions as needed. This role will allow you to support and be a part of an exciting and transformative period in Treasury.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive process improvements by creating and leveraging advanced reporting analytics
- Identify opportunities to reduce paper check payment volume across UHG
- Analyze and improve adoption of electronic payments in high volume areas
- Exploring efficiencies in automated matching criteria, vendor data quality, and check fraud controls
- Produce reporting for senior leadership review
- Utilize 365 Power BI or similar tools to illustrate trends associated with enterprise check volumes, check fraud control effectiveness, and controlled disbursement account inventory
- Document, standardize and maintain procedures related to fraud review and check controls
- Provide coverage for time sensitive operational functions
- Daily check fraud review
- Lockbox check deposit tracking and journal entries

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in a finance or banking related role
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, etc.)
- Proven solid project management and analytical skills
- Proven effective at problem solving, follow-through, and issue resolution
- Proven ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data
- Proven ability to work independently to meet key deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Peoplesoft General Ledger experience
- Proven to be a change innovator around banking and or payments expertise
- Proven to leverage both verbal and professional writing communication with stakeholders
- Proven exceptional customer service skills in a professional business environment

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
