Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reusable microservice capabilities that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles, including object-oriented development, microservices, data access layer management, usability, debugging, and configuration management
  • Lead the resolution of complex problems and conduct in-depth analysis
  • Utilize Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies
  • Integrate monitoring instrumentation into applications
  • Troubleshoot and support production systems as needed
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of development experience and expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP using cloud-native technologies (not just infrastructure) and Kubernetes (or any container orchestrator)
  • 1+ years of experience in cloud implementations such as AWS or GCP
  • Experience with databases, SQL programming, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and Elasticsearch
  • Familiarity with Python, Maven, REST APIs, and microservices
  • Expertise in Java or Scala programming language
  • Proficiency in developing and coding software components using Java or Scala, Spring framework, and Spring Boot framework
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies to solve business problems
  • Proven capability to apply principles and techniques to solve technical problems and write code based on technical design
  • Proven solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, networking, parallel and distributed computing
  • Demonstrated technical capability in writing, clearly addressing use case scenarios during evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience developing Single Page Applications (SPA) with solid proficiency in one or more front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
  • Experience building streaming solutions using Kafka
  • Some experience with AI/ML 
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management or Record Linkage domain
  • Familiarity with Apache Spark
  • Understanding of statistics and probability, with some experience in machine learning algorithms
