The Regional Manager is responsible for the operational management of multiple centers. Responsible for teammate development by coaching and mentoring Center Administrators on all aspects of operations management in order to meet key performance indicators. Develops strong partnerships with Medical Directors and center teammates to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Monitors financial performance and productivity for assigned group of centers. Accountable for achievement of quality and financial goals and leading others to their own high level of accountability. Responsible for delivering on service excellence, member retention and growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establishes strong relationships with Center Administrator, providers and other teammates
- Creates a Great Place To Work Environment by identifying and developing high potential teammates and acknowledging teammate success
- Continuously attracts new talent to the organization
- Direct supervision of Center Administrators including hiring, performance reviews, development plans and terminations
- Strategically manages assigned centers by focusing on quality, stewardship and growth
- Subject matter expert of operational and medical management activities and their correlation to performance indicators
- Ability to execute projects/work under budget and on time in a planned and organized manner
- Identifies key performance deficiencies and implements measures for course correction
- Communicates key initiatives to center teammates
- Collaborates with departments across the organization to ensure quality patient care and overall business needs are met
- Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of healthcare management experience
- Ability to travel to/from medical centers during the course of a normal workday at any time due to business need
- Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor’s diagnosis of disease
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ambulatory care and/or primary care experience
- Multi-site management experience
- Experience working effectively with analytical tools, spreadsheets, and instructional tools
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis, financial analysis, and medical review
- Knowledge and experience in quality assessment and improvement programs
- Knowledge and experience in the development and administration of managed care principles and practices
- Proven sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proven project management skills
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor processes to effectively uphold standards of care, policies and procedures
The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
