What you’ll do 

 

The Optum UK Group Assurance Team works to enable Partners and Consuming Suppliers to deliver integrated software solutions for the core systems. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all new or updated solutions using the standard Optum UK interfaces are delivered to a consistently high standard. You will achieve this through careful planning and liaising with the 3rd party to understand their product, test plans, and deliver a full assurance review.

Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include; 

  • Taking a pro-active approach to ensure that products are progressed and completed to agreed timescales 
  • Identify and engage with all internal and external stakeholders, maintain high standards of communication with stakeholders throughout each project
  • Plan and deliver GPIT Futures Pairing Assurance (PIA) projects within strict deadlines
  • Create documentation sets to support each new project 
  • Develop an understanding of the scope and limitations of each of Optum UK’s off-the-shelf interoperability solutions, our interoperability strategy, the wider Optum UK Business and the NHS.

Who you’ll be 

 

You will have experience working in customer service or customer facing role and a desire to progress your career.

  • Planning, reporting and organisational skills
  • Experience in managing communications between both internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience learning new technical concepts 
  • An awareness of clinical safety and IG compliance
  • A proven record of delivery within tight deadlines and competing priorities
