This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1715 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212.

We offer on-the-job training. The hours of training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Processes patient referrals for all Specialists for Healthcare Providers in various markets
• Answers phones and schedules appointments
• Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
• Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner
• Processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.
• Documents in EMR and third-party platform all pertinent information with accuracy
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
• 1+ years of related work experience including data entry
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime, given the business need

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
• Ability to accurately sort and file materials alphabetically OR by numeric system
• Effective communication and customer service skills

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
