Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of modern software engineering practices to improve team delivery and solution outcomes
  • Apply broad domain knowledge to optimize architectural and design decisions, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
  • Champion instrumentation and diagnostics to support maintainability, operational excellence, and proactive issue resolution
  • Drive code reuse and minimize redundant development by contributing to share components and tools
  • Establish partnerships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer needs and improve user metrics
  • Proactively identify and address security gaps in solution design and delivery, incorporating emerging security trends
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack web applications and RESTful microservices
  • Guide and mentor a team of software engineers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using tools like Github Actions and Azure App Services
  • Ensure high code quality through unit and integration testing, and champion test-driven development
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and support deployments on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP
  • Monitor application performance and reliability using tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Contribute to strategic technical decisions and help shape the product roadmap
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment) The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Fulltime graduation degree
  • 5+ years of experience building production-grade, web-enabled software in distributed environments
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, React Native, Springboot, Python for web, mobile application and API development
  • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or mentoring junior developers
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Azure App Services)
  • Experience in designing solutions across multiple channels with a focus on business value, customer experience, and operational efficiency
  • Solid experience implementing RESTful microservices and integrating with modern databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., Java, Springboot, Python, React, SQL, NoSQL)
  • Proficiency in containerization and CI/CD practices using Github Actions
  • Proven ability to lead teams in adopting new tools, technologies, and engineering practices
