The Facility & Security Lead is responsible for facilitating general facility issues and security oversight locally at RMHP headquarters located in Grand Junction, Colorado. In addition to security and facility oversight, the Facility & Security Lead works collaboratively with the Director on general business operation activities including company archive/shredding activities, printing, and mailroom processes. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the planning, assessment, design, construction, maintenance, and modification efforts related to equipment, buildings, machinery, and other facility-related projects
  • Lead and manage RMHP facility repairs by working with CBRE Facilities Management to partner with outside vendors
  • Education and assist onsite employees with facility-related issues, ensuring they adhere to the proper protocol for submitting facilities tickets. Provide guidance and support to resolve concerns efficiently. Create and maintain a tracking document for all facility related requests and projects
  • Monitor the surveillance system and coordinate with the onsite guard as needed to ensure security protocols are followed
  • Manage ongoing communications with onsite guard to consistently review security protocols and discuss potential new strategies
  • Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities through regular assessments and audits and implement effective measures, to include incident response plans, to mitigate identified risks, ensuring the safety and security of the facility and its occupants
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency and evacuation procedures, ensuring all onsite staff are fully informed of the protocols to include coordinating and conducting annual fire drills in collaboration with the local Fire Department
  • Participate in the execution and coordination of special projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals. Collaborate with various departments in providing support and facilitating effective communication throughout the project’s lifecycle
  • Create a process for the maintenance, retention, storage, and destruction of records to include reviewing and processing payments for security, record retention, shredding of records, and other miscellaneous invoices
  • Provides backup and support to mail and copy center as needed including full training on all equipment and processes

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in construction or building maintenance
  • Available for after-hours intervention in case of a facility related emergency
  • Ability to move 40 lbs. occasionally
  • Live in Grand Junction, CO or surrounding areas

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
