This position is full time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 5 weeks of paid on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule during normal business hours.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and drive resolution for customer problems / issues
  • Educate stakeholders on proper use of data request intake process
  • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable dashboards, CRM systems, and Call Center telephony systems
  • Collaborate with internal resources, external vendors, and clients
  • Maintain awareness of best practices / approaches related to quality and productivity
  • Maintain product support information and documentation
  • Serve as issue management lead to ensure issues are addressed and resolved
  • Conduct and / or support testing activities, as appropriate (e.g., production testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, production validation, compliance with test scenarios)
  • Audit various software systems and databases accordingly to schedule and ad hoc request
  • Perform data analysis and identify gaps in performance to define process improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience with working in the insurance, medical, behavioral health setting OR financial technology
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, work with formulas) and Microsoft PowerPoint (deck creation, presentation)
  • Ability to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM from Monday – Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Healthcare OR Financial Services
  • Experience in a Call Center Environment
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, and conferring cross – functionally
  • Expert experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and ability to learn new platforms

 

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

 

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and deadlines simultaneously

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 – $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
