Our customers need an advocate to help them look at all their options. As an Inside Sales Support Associate you will be responsible for collaborating with other Inside Sales Account Managers to share best practices. Our extensive training program paves the way for success, teaching you our technology, product portfolio, and sales methodology. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, who has previous sales experience, and is interested in high earning potential working with warm leads. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with assigned Optum360 customers
- Ensure renewal of current customers within assigned territory
- Cross-sell new products to current customers within assigned territory
- Sell electronic products to current customers within assigned territory
- Generate qualified leads for other Optum360 product lines
- Work with assigned customers to understand customer needs and provide solutions to customer problems
- Work with the Inside Sales Supervisor to improve sales skills and ensure that productivity and other metrics are maintained
- Collaborate with other Inside Sales Account Managers to share the best practices
- Work with Product Management, Data Integrity, Customer Service, and other internal departments to resolve customer issues

Required Qualification:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of sales related experience including analyzing and problem solving for customers
- Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including strong keyboard and navigation skills, and learning new computer programs
Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
Soft Skills:
- Achieve new product sales budgets
- Achieve electronic product sales budgets
- Achieve book of business renewal rate goals
- Achieve 100% budget attainment of monthly and annual sales budgets
- Ability to multi-task, including the ability to navigate a computer while speaking on the telephone
- Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation including the training period and
- Ability to develop an understanding of our multiple products and the levels of benefits within each product
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
