We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the implementation of DevOps best practices for a cutting-edge healthcare application deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will be instrumental in integrating AI-driven automation and managing a Modular Cloud Platform (MCP) architecture to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure.

 

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, and security experts to drive innovation and operational excellence in a regulated healthcare environment.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure & MCP Architecture
  • Architect and manage scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on GCP, leveraging services like Cloud SQL, GKE, and VPC
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to standardize and automate deployments
  • Design and maintain MCP architecture for modular, reusable cloud components
  • DevOps Automation & CI/CD
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or Jenkins to support continuous integration and delivery
  • Implement advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling updates) to ensure zero-downtime releases
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment workflows
  • AI Integration & Observability
  • Integrate AI/ML models to enhance predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, and auto-remediation
  • Deploy and manage observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Splunk for real-time insights
  • Security & Compliance
  • Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network segmentation
  • Embed automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare regulations
  • Collaboration & Support
  • Provide expert-level support for production incidents and participate in on-call rotations
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Document architecture and operational procedures for transparency and consistency

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in IT with 5+ years of experience in cloud platforms (GCP; AWS/Azure a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure
  • Solid experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps toolchains

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in GCP, Kubernetes, or DevOps
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and large-scale deployments
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with SRE practices, GitOps, and auto-healing systems
  • Proven solid communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
