As a Health Care Economics Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of health care. You’ll conduct in-depth research and analysis to address complex business challenges, leveraging your advanced analytical skills to develop and refine data-driven strategies. Your work will directly influence enterprise-wide performance targets and decision-making.
As a subject matter expert, you’ll interpret clinical data from diverse sources, identifying innovative ways to consolidate and apply insights that drive measurable impact.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Extract, manipulate, aggregate, and validate data from multiple sources primarily using SAS and/or SQL
- Interpret and analyze complex clinical data and recommend optimal approaches
- Deliver ad-hoc and project-based reporting to uncover trends in health plan performance, providing consultative insights and actionable recommendations
- Develop and enhance quantitative data analytic models to support decision-making and set performance targets
- Communicate project status, analytical results, and key findings to stakeholders through clear and concise reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including request logs, custom specifications, version control of deliverables and programs, and detailed project tracking
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, serving as a subject matter expert and resource for cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative discipline or a related quantitative discipline
- 3+ years of programming experience with SAS and/or SQL
- Experience with data reporting and analysis
- Experience working with unstructured data
- Proven Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative discipline
- Experience within healthcare industry
- Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Proven reporting skills using software like Tableau and Power BI

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
