This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 1 week of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Shift may adjust so team will discuss when closer.

   

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Telephonic outreach to members to complete post ER visit assessment
  • Completing telephonic assessments with members
  • Facilitating follow up for the member
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of experience working in a physician’s office OR outpatient clinic with patient and medical team communication and collaboration
  • 2+ years of experience with outbound calls to patients / members
  • Experience working in cross functional, inter and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience and proficiency with EMRs
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Telephonic and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Microsoft Word (edit, create and save documents), Microsoft Excel (adding, sorting and filtering data) and Microsoft Outlook (email, folders, attachments and calendaring)

   

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within Central OR Mountain Time Zone
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 – $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
