We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI technologies to develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions within the Pharmacy domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, and frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain. Solid proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras are essential.
This role will involve close collaboration with Pharmacy Operations and Capability teams. On the Operations side, you’ll engage directly with Pharmacists to understand and solve real-world challenges. On the Capability side, you’ll work with Capability leaders to identify problem areas and co-design AI/ML solutions. You’ll also contribute to broader initiatives in Pharmacy Modernization, aligning with organizational goals to leverage emerging AI technologies for reducing manual work, accelerating delivery, and improving Net Promoter Score (NPS).
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models using GenAI technologies (LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI)
- Utilize frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras for model development
- Build models that generate new data samples, patterns, or content based on existing inputs
- Deploy AI/ML solutions in production environments, preferably on cloud platforms like Azure
- Conduct rigorous model testing, validation, and performance optimization
- Containerize AI/ML projects and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to preprocess, analyze, and interpret large-scale datasets
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in generative AI and ML technologies
- Ensure code quality and security by identifying and resolving vulnerabilities
- Maintain solid programming practices with a focus on Python
- Work Eastern Time Zone hours to support collaboration across a global team
- Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 7+ years of industry or academic experience in AI/ML or Data Science
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Python and version control tools like GitHub
- 4+ years of experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- 3+ years of experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AI/ML or related technologies
- Experience with Git management and CI/CD best practices
- Experience in designing high-level cloud architecture for AI/ML solutions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of UAIS and MLRB

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
