The Director of Technical Product Management – Platform leads the strategy, design, development, and lifecycle management of enterprise platform products that serve as the foundation for building forward-thinking business solutions. These platforms integrate, digitize, automate, and orchestrate business operations to enhance member, client, and operational experiences, drive quality and efficiency, accelerate innovation, and enable modernization. Acting as a centralized hub, the platform provides standardized capabilities, reusable components, and ready-to-use AI services that empower developers and businesses to create and manage digital solutions easily. This role focuses on delivering value through reuse, build acceleration, cloud adoption, AI enablement, cybersecurity hardening, and business process simplification-all while improving operating efficiency and client/consumer experience.

Risk

Role is required to replace existing SG30 Director in India leading the Platform Products team. This role is needed to continue the existing Platform Product resource pyramid of SG 29 / 28 / 27 roles based on capital demand alignment.

 

AI/ML Skill Development Opportunities

  • Research latest technology trends and drive development of Generative AI and Agentic AI agents for platform optimization and automation
  • Learn AI observability and compliance practices for enterprise platforms
  • Practical experience using MS Teams Copilot and AI assistants in Aha and Rally for product management tasks

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and own the platform product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, modernization goals, and regulatory standards.
    End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Manage the entire lifecycle of platform products-from concept and MVP through iterative enhancements-using agile methodologies. Partner with business leaders, architects and engineering teams to assess capabilities, evaluate alternatives, and prioritize releases
  • Requirements Translation & Backlog Management: Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed features and user stories. Lead backlog refinement, grooming, and prioritization activities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
  • AI Tool Utilization – AI User Role:
    • Use Microsoft M365 Copilot for backlog refinement, feature and user story definition, acceptance criteria, and outcome-based functional test cases
    • Leverage MS Teams Copilot for meeting notes, stakeholder communication, and dependency tracking
    • Utilize AI Assistants in Aha and Rally to facilitate requirements/design sessions and accelerate feature and user story creation
    • Apply AI-driven insights to improve collaboration and speed-to-market
  • AI Builder Role Responsibilities:
    • Design and configure Agentic AI workflows and automation solutions to enhance platform capabilities
    • Build and deploy custom AI models and copilots for platform operations, including predictive analytics, intelligent routing, and automated decision-making
    • Integrate AI-driven orchestration into platform services to improve scalability, compliance, and performance
    • Partner with engineering and data science teams to ensure AI solutions meet security, ethical, and regulatory standards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architects, engineers, quality, IT support, and business teams to design and implement platform capabilities that meet acceptance criteria
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Define KPIs tied to success criteria (e.g., platform uptime, scalability metrics, modernization adoption). Monitor product performance using analytics and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure platform solutions meet security, regulatory, and compliance requirements without compromising performance
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Incorporate user feedback and operational data to refine platform capabilities, improve scalability, and enhance developer experience
  • Governance & Ethical AI: Implement responsible AI practices, including bias detection and transparency, throughout the product lifecycle
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Drive alignment across teams, resolve blockers, and foster a culture of ownership and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with application modernization, microservices, and orchestration of business processes
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted backlog refinement and feature prioritization using Microsoft M365 Copilot
  • Experience with AI Assistants in Aha and Rally for accelerating requirements and design sessions
  • Experience building and deploying custom AI models and copilots for predictive analytics and intelligent orchestration
  • Develop user experience, non-user function, and functional specifications for the product
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (HIPAA, CMS, NCPDP) and security best practices
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including pharmacy operations and business
  • Solid understanding of value creation through reuse, cost optimization, and efficiency improvements
  • Deep understanding of foundational platform components, integration frameworks, and cloud adoption strategies
  • Understanding of AI governance, ethical AI practices, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and services for decision-making, automation, and efficiency improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft M365 Copilot for backlog refinement, user story creation, acceptance criteria, and test case development
  • Proficient in the delineation and execution of product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Proficient in the evaluation, analysis, and projection of data with respect to operational and business strategy.
  • Proficiency in conducting cost-benefit analyses and monitoring forecasts to verify that the product is operating as anticipated
  • Proficient in utilizing data-driven insights and optimal methodologies to enhance product performance
  • Proficient knowledge of workflow, process enhancement, benchmarking, and/or assessment of enterprise processes
  • Proven ability to define and communicate a clear platform roadmap aligned with business objectives and modernization goals
  • Proven skills in managing technology budgets and ensuring financial health of platform investments
  • Proven ability to use MS Teams Copilot for meeting notes, stakeholder communication, and dependency tracking
  • Proven capability to design and configure Agentic AI workflows and automation solutions
  • Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and iterative product development
