We are looking for a Data Engineer  to design, build, and optimize large-scale data architectures and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud ecosystems, data pipelines, Big Data technologies, and enterprise-grade data engineering practices. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, secure, and high‑performing data solutions that fuel analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise operations.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture & Engineering
    • Design, develop, and optimize database architectures, data models, and schemas
    • Implement and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing
    • Build solutions that enable efficient ingestion, transformation, and consumption of enterprise data
  • Platform & Cloud Solutions
    • Develop, manage, and optimize data solutions across PaaS and cloud environments
    • Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and security of data platforms
    • Support cloud modernization and data platform migration initiatives
  • Data Quality & Compliance
    • Conduct needs assessments and implement strong data quality and validation frameworks
    • Support adherence to organizational and regulatory compliance standards
    • Enable data governance practices across pipelines and platforms
  • Development & Deployment
    • Build and deploy high‑performance solutions using Big Data and distributed computing technologies
    • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to support ML/AI workloads and data-driven applications
    • Apply modern engineering practices including version control, testing, CI/CD, and automation
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Independently lead projects and drive technical solution delivery
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to capability building within the team
    • Facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions and promote engineering best practices
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
    • Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors, assessing architectural impact
    • Partner with enterprise teams for requirement gathering, solutioning, and cross‑platform integration
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience in data engineering, data platform development, or large-scale data processing
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP), data warehousing, and data platform engineering
  • Experience building enterprise‑grade ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, storage engineering, and distributed systems
  • Solid proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and Big Data frameworks
  • Proven exposure to supporting AI/ML workloads in collaboration with Data Science teams
