The Senior Manager, Software Engineering is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions. This role blends deep technical expertise, program leadership, and stakeholder management to deliver transformational initiatives across healthcare domains, leveraging modern technologies including AI, automation, and cloud platforms.
If you are located in MN or DC, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Project Delivery Management
- Lead and manage multiple engineering and cross-functional teams across large-scale transformation and modernization programs
- Drive full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) execution from requirements definition through production support
- Lead complex enterprise-wide transformation initiatives including re-engineering, automation, and digital modernization
- Establish delivery models across Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring on-time and high-quality outcomes
- Build and mentor high-performing teams; manage capacity planning, resourcing, and performance
- Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Provide solution architecture for end-to-end healthcare processes across:
- Member Eligibility
- Claims (837/835)

- Provider Maintenance
- Encounters
- Drive front-to-back transformation of disjoint systems into integrated platforms
- Lead architecture decisions, design standards, and implementation of modern technologies
- Champion automation-first mindset, AI-driven solutions, and reusable components
- Provide solution architecture for end-to-end healthcare processes across:
- Stakeholder & Client Management
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and senior leadership to define and deliver business outcomes
- Manage client communications, commercial documentation, and engagement planning
- Act as SME/Product Owner for healthcare systems including Membership, Provider, Claims, and Authorization
- Influence decision-making at executive levels and across cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technology delivery, and program management
- 8+ years of with a combination of technical skills & platforms in Healthcare Systems, Cloud & Data, Development Tools, Integration and Monitoring & Ops experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation and automation AI initiatives in a global delivery models
- Domain experience Commercial Healthcare, Medicaid, and Medicare lines of business
- Salesforce implementations including architecture, development, and support
- Solid background in Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps practices
- Prior Management experience with HR accountabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud: Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Data: Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Unity Catalog
- Development & Tools: Python, SQL, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, Jenkins, Apex, Triggers, Lightning (Aura, LWC)
- Integration: SOAP & REST APIs, custom interfaces, EDI processing
- Monitoring & Ops: Splunk, CI/CD pipelines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
