We need a highly innovative confident Senior Manager Software Engineering who can build as well as lead a team of engineers, with modern technologies, with a wealth of experience in database, Java, virtual threads, Kubernetes, Kafka, MySQL, Postgres database, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas in a cloud environment. Or someone who has worked on Databricks and Kafka with Java and Springboot background. Our team develops tools to calculate the capitation for Value-based Reimbursement. To thrive in this team, you must have a comprehensive understanding of system implementation and design and be enthusiastic about leading development of new paradigms in software system architecture. The team will learn from you and utilize your knowledge and skills in standards, corporate security protocols, and data governance, and the responsibilities include, implementing and crafting sophisticated APIs, batch programs and UIs, integrating and maintaining technology into existing CI/CD pipelines, and encouraging developer adoption of metadata specifications.

It is important that you are comfortable documenting systems and developing library code to lead developers in optimizing their engineering workflow. This position will also ensure that the UI design and system designs are inventive, functional, yet simple so that it can be used by individuals with a wide range of technical backgrounds.

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be able to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and be able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
  • Understand various disparate views of the system
  • Design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made. Write and review design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application
  • Create, understand, and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
  • Be able to define in-scope, out-of-scope and taken assumptions while creating effort estimates
  • Review architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design
  • Manage and be accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
  • Adherence to the defined SSMO delivery process/guidelines like Problem Management, Incident Management, Change Management, SLA
  • Compliance, productivity and other application goals, etc.
  • Participation in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases
  • Participate in stakeholder discussions (business customers, IT partners) along with Service Managers/Service Directors for understanding business needs
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery as per release plan
  • Encourage domain and technical knowledge and aim to build an SME(s) in specific functional and technical component
  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
  • Participate in meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings to understand business problem/objective of project
  • Act as a gatekeeper for production and analyze each code and infrastructure changes going in to ensure the quality
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from recognized University 
  • 12+ years of overall IT experience. An individual with experience in Java (Spring framework), Javascript, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud and also experienced in managing a team of highly skilled developers
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE and related technologies like Spring Security, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and RESTful web / micro services, Hibernate, Spring Data JPA
  • Experience in Databricks/Kafka/Java/SB or Java/SB/Kafka/React
  • Experience in Java Microservices
  • Spring Boot JPA/Hibernate
  • Experience in React JS
  • Azure / GCP Cloud hands on experience
  • Skills : Full Stack, AI/ML, Agile, Cloud, DevOps, Java, Kubernetes, SQL, Azure, Big Data, Kafka, Github, Snowflake, Splunk, ServiceNow, SpringBoot,
  • LINUX, NodeJS, Scrum
  • Basic/Advanced database SQL skills
  • Team Management
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Proven good Communication and interpersonal Skills

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience in healthcare domain
  • Experience with high volume transaction sites
  • Experience working with applications deployed in private or public cloud
