Senior Software Engineer – QA Selenium with C#

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, development and implement automated tests in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development)
• Write and execute automated tests using Selenium, Cucumber/Specflow and Java/C#
• Deliver test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines
• Mentor and direct other testers in automation and SDET principles
• Perform reviews of automation and application code
• Engineer automated test and metric reporting solutions
• Develop in-depth system and application knowledge for higher test quality and coverage
• Constantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approach
• Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories
• Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
• Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate
• Research and implement tools that support faster delivery with high quality

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with enterprise-level test automation tools and frameworks
• Experience with back-end API testing using RestAssured or RestSharp
• Hands-on experience in all types of testing including unit, integration, system, sanity, smoke, regression, acceptance
• Experience working in an off-shore / on-shore model
• Hands-on in Selenium with Java or C#, Cucumber/ Specflow
• Ability to implement practices that support ATDD and CICD (with ability of E2E Implementation & trouble shooting)
• Proven excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology
• Proven good communicator at all levels of the organization
• Good understanding of GIT
• Working knowledge of MS SQL, SQL query language and SQL Management Studio
