UnitedHealth Group is seeking a motivated and innovative Technical Product Manager to join our expanding product team. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background and a passion for driving product vision from concept to reality. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our corporate services through technology-driven solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Corporate Services to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring the product roadmap aligns with strategic objectives
  • Work closely with development teams to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable tasks, bridging the gap between business and technology
  • Manage product backlogs, set priorities, and make informed trade-off decisions to deliver high-quality products on time
  • Analyze product performance using data and user feedback to iterate and improve existing products
  • Lead cross-functional teams through Agile methodologies, ensuring consistent and effective communication throughout the product development process

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a technical focus
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms and vice versa
  • Demonstrated data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics to guide product decisions

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing enterprise software products or internal tools
  • Proficiency in roadmap planning tools like JIRA, Aha!, or similar
  • Demonstrated background in software development, with a solid understanding of coding, APIs, and cloud
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, thriving in both leadership and collaborative roles
  • Proven knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and the ability to work closely with UI/UX designers

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
