Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for routine scheduled Health Plan reports, including accuracy, modifications as needed and timely delivery
  • Responsible for development of specifications and delivery of special Health Plan report requests for auditing purposes that are in addition to the standard reporting requirements
  • Supports the Delegation Oversight Department through the management and interpretation of data, project management, process improvement activities and group facilitation
  • Responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting on data in support of business cases, proposed projects and utilization management requirements
  • Interprets key data and presents in a clear and concise manner
  • Work with Delegation Oversight, UM Reporting Supervisor to identify and report needed system configuration additions/changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience with Excel
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills, both verbal and written with a keen attention to detail
  • Must be able to work remotely, with limited distractions and can work independently with limited supervision
  • Must be flexible, well organized, and have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to be efficient, meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10, CPT, HCPC codes
  • Knowledge in importing data for use in software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts
  • Some knowledge of Health Plans
  • Some understanding of Managed Care
