DUTIES: Produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from unstructured, diverse datasets; Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement; Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and use case requirements; Work with business partners to define and document business and technical requirements for data and analytics projects; Participate in the development of innovative solutions to solve complex problems; Perform exploratory data analysis to assist with Advanced Analytics model development; Test, deploy, and maintain existing models; Perform ad-hoc analyses as required; Effectively communicate complex technical results to business partners; Generate Insights via predictive and prescriptive analytics to drive process improvement; Create use cases for new analytical models and calculate ROI generated by analytics; Scale analytical models such as cost to collect, AR touch performance, First pass payment rate to Epic clients; Support denial prediction model development and deployment across all lines of business by creating data pipelines; Support automation initiatives by writing code for bots; and Maintain, scale and enhance advanced analytics dashboards to provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.  

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 1 year of experience in the following: 
•    Data mining and data analysis methods such as Azure Databricks; 
•    Supervised and unsupervised machine learning; 
•    Python, R, or Scala; 
•    ML Frameworks such as Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Keras, or Pandas; 
•    Data Frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark; 
•    Data Framework technologies such as AWS; Relational databases such as Microsoft SQL server, Oracle SQL, or MySQL; 
•    Data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

RATE OF PAY:  $128,750.00 -$135,239.00 /year
