Senior Quality Engineer – Automation testing, ATDD

Primary Responsibility:

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks,  Java & ATDD, RESTful APIs 
• Hands-on experience on testing and automating web Applications
• Hands-on experience working on SQL Queries , Citus DB , test automation of APIs (REST services) and testing tools like Postman , Insomnia etc.
• Experience in executing load run jobs using JMeter scripts
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins for executing automated tests
• Proficient with developer tools and IDEs, such as Eclipse/IntelliJ and GitHub for developing
• Basic proficiency in design, development, reuse, execution of tests cases
• Basic proficiency in running and updating testing scripts using automated testing tools
• Basic proficiency in collaborating as part of a scrum team in grooming user stories
• Basic understanding of SDLC (software development lifecycle) in agile while also providing key contributions to testing phase in SDLC
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Proven excellent problem-solving and analytical skill
• Proven solid communication collaboration and influencing skills to drive change
• Proven solid communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GIT Actions
• Experience in testing microservices and RESTful APIs, DB
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Knowledge on Java, Javascript
