General Role Description:

As a dual role of Site Leader/Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population along with fulfilling the administrative role of Site Leader

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers
  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health disorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
  • Interviewing and hiring of new clinical staff as well as onboarding of new clinicians
  • Participate in local marketing efforts and development of new referral sources
  • Manage day to day clinical processes and running weekly meetings
  • See a minimum of 20 client hours per week
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Competency Requirements:

 

·       Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field

·       Must have a clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT,  or LMHC) in the state of North Carolina

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·       2.0+ years professional social work / clinical experience post Master’s degree

·       Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and families

·       Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)

·       Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness
