Business Development Intern

We are currently seeking a Business Development Intern to focus on new practice acquisitions for our company. These individuals will maintain and optimize Refresh’s CRM software as well as facilitate lead generation for the M&A team.

Our Intern program is a dynamic and well-rounded experience in Healthcare, M&A, and Business Development. We give candidates an opportunity for year-round part-time or full-time employment in a high-visibility role with our senior management team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the Business Development team in Outreach efforts
• Attend intakes, write treatment plans, and diagnoses
• Observe and conduct family, individual, and group therapy sessions
• Complete a monthly timesheet to track intern hours and learning experiences which will be provided to Intern Coordinator at the end of each month
• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to treatment goals
• Participate in weekly clinical staffing and present any pertinent information regarding client care, progress, and blockage towards treatment goals
• Attend monthly intern staff meetings with Intern Coordinator
• Conduct research and attend trainings to assist in improving clinical practice

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
• Related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven self-awareness and effective communication with high-level executives
• Proven detail-oriented
• Proven excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

California Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $18.00 to $32.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
