We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: Ability to cover shifts Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm PST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm PST when there are call outs or PTO scheduled

Location Address: Home site will be 2178 Johnson Ave, Suite P1, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, but you will need to help cover PTO/absences at 4444 Calle Real Suite P1, Santa Barbara, CA 93110

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to asset in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Make outgoing calls to coordinate deliveries/obtain clarification from patients to provide high quality service 
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license 
• Ability to work in both locations as needed:2178 Johnson Ave, Suite P1, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 and 4444 Calle Real Suite P1, Santa Barbara, CA 93110

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 1+ years Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience 
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• 1+ years of customer service experience
