With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered. Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services. These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery
  • Design, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams
  • Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality release
  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
  • Mentor team members on Automation frameworks
  • Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
  • Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results
  • Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality
  • Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Serves as a resource to others
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • B. Tech. / MCA /  M. Tech (16+ years of formal education)
  • Total experience of 7+ years with solid technical background and 4+ years of experience working in Java or JavaScript / Typescript OR QA automations. Java or JavaScript, Typescript, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright 
  • Experience in Selenium/Cypress/Playwright
  • Hands-on coding experience in Core Java, J2EE, spring ecosystem
  • Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives
  • Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge implementing test automation using either UFT, Selenium or SPOCK
  • Solid working knowledge of TDD and BDD
  • Knowledge on Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, RabbitMQ, OpenShift
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments
