Primary Responsibilities:

  • Incident management – Monitor all incidents to ensure SLAs are being met.  Lead war room troubleshooting activities to resolution, including business impact communications to stakeholders.  Report on incident metrics and work with team members on improvements
  • Problem management – Manage the problem ticket queue and setup regular cadence with development and operations leadership teams on progress.  Assign the Problem Tasks to the correct owners coordinate and follow-up with Development/ Infra Support or external teams to identify the root cause of issues, work with team leads to define an action plan to mitigate issues found, provide problem ticket updates in Service Now and communicate on progress
  • Platform health monitoring – Monitor the overall health of the platform.  Work with engineering teams to create/update monitoring and alerts for critical platform functions, including self-healing automation.  Report on platform health to leadership and identify areas for improvement
  • Knowledge management and reporting – Document and catalog knowledge articles to act as reference points for team members.  Create and Maintain training videos to train future team members on all the critical aspects of the platform.  Create regular, automated reports on key platform metrics
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles, with a history of successfully improving and enhancing system dependability and efficiency

Preferred Qualification:

  • Data management, experience generating operational reporting, leading meetings and review of incident, problem and change management. Supports on call demands, ServiceNow
