As a Technical Engineer you will be working with a project team of technical and clinical experts to implement radiology PACS and 3rd party software solutions for our healthcare customers. The Technical Engineer is essential for ensuring all technical aspects of the project including the building, configuring, installing and upgrading our software solutions. Primary Responsibilities of the Technical Engineer:
- Deploying and configuring all purchased products and solutions
- Performing software and hardware installation and/or upgrade, system configuration, quality testing, and documentation according to defined processes
- Responsible for onsite asset review included as part of the implementation and transition to the Support group
- Responsible for all parts issued for builds which include counting, recording, exchange, replacement, report shortages and filing RMA reports
- Perform Final Quality Assurance for finished systems as assigned in accordance to the quality system
- Customer Training on solutions as needed
- Mentoring and Training internal personnel
- Evaluate and drives development of standardized processes and training materials across the team
- Resolve technical problems, analyze, and evaluate issues that may occur during implementation
- Analyzes and creates system installation architecture and configurations
- Work closely with customers to benchmark, design, plan and implement optimal solutions
- Be a technical lead for larger and complex projects
- Ongoing relationship with Product management with respect to technical product development and vision
- Support management with strategic initiatives
- Support sales process with technical details during contracting phase

Required Qualifications of the Technical Engineer:
- Very strong knowledge of databases (SQL & Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, IIS, Networking, and VMWare.
- Experience with DICOM/HL7 a strong asset.
