OGA Fin IT-Opx team works to develop applications for Finance and Quality team. Each developer works with end user to get requirement and develop scalable application.
This position has responsibility of development, improvements and maintenance on Geneo power bi reports, it requires resource to work on business requirement and follow Optum Coding standards and work on new projects in Power BI. SQL and Azure devops. Developer responsibilities include writing and testing programs for business processes in projects. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Participates in Agile and CI-CD practices, takes ownership of some processes or practices for team
- Has awareness of the operational characteristics (e.g., security, performance, scalability, manageability) of solutions and is accountable for supporting those requirements in contributed code
- Contributes to increasing team understanding of user perspective and values while advocating for user needs
- Understands what creates business or market impact and how design and delivery activities are related to that impact
- Participates in development of prototypes (mockups, models, simulations, functional capabilities) to support user engagement, interaction, and feedback
- Has knowledge of technologies & understands the technologies used by an engineering team
- Contributes to the identification/prioritization of solution through analysis and discussions
- Understands regulatory environment, sales and digital experience, and channel
- Designs solutions within a single channel
- Knowledgeable about current security controls
- Identify possible solutions and pros and cons to each
- Ability to use data driven approaches to solve problems
- Adheres to quality control guidelines & practices
- Tracks, identifies, and promptly reports issues that may affect solution quality and bring forward improvement recommendations
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experiences on PowerBI, SQL and Azure devops
- Experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Developing / Fully proficient
- Experience with relational Database: Power BI, SQL, and Azure DevOps
- Knowledge in data warehousing
- Knowledge on GitHub Integration with Azure Devops
- Proven ability to work with minimal guidance or on routine issues/activities
- Proven ability to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- Proven ability to demonstrate an “automation first” mentality that improves quality and efficiency
- Proven ability to develop understanding of cost, complexity, and capability tradeoffs in underlying architectures
- Proven ability to develop awareness of upstream and downstream system interactions and dependencies
- Proven ability to reuses and or develops for reuse code algorithms, or data structures to address common needs
- Proven analytics skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Proven actively follows industry trends in technology, tools, and components, sharing finds with team members
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge or experience with DevOps, SSIS
