Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:
- Join a development team to perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing
- Own the build/deploy/release process and find ways to automate and improve our pipeline at every step
- Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
- Participate in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks
- Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team
- Participates in code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Cloud: 1+ years of experience building and shipping production software in a scaled distributed environment in public cloud
- Databases: Experience with relational databases or non-relational databases
- DevOps: Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools/services
- UI/UX: Proficiency with any JavaScript-based UI framework
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub
Preferred Qualifications:
- UI Frameworks: Experience with React/React Native (preferred), Angular, Blazor
- Databases: Experience with Microsoft SQL, DynamoDB
- Message Queue Systems: Experience with AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka
- Testing Tools/Services/Frameworks: Knowledge of Playwright, Cucumber, SauceLabs, Cypress, Appium
- AI Integration: Knowledge and experience in integrating AI technologies into software engineering processes and products. Ability to leverage AI for improving development workflows, enhancing product features, and optimizing team performance
- Cloud: Familiarity with AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
- Backend: Proficiency in GoLang (preferred), Rust, GraphQL, .NET, Java
