In this position, you will supervise and manage the daily activities of a large operational group of Representatives, Team Leads, Supervisors and Analysts. Responsibilities include hiring, staffing, resource management and allocation, audits, project management, staff development, coaching and training.
This position is full – time (40 hours / week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am to 10:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional/mandatory overtime that could include a Saturday. This is a Hybrid role – working a combination of onsite and at home. 2 days are required in office per week.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of your team by assessing workload, assigning work details, managing volumes to assure SLAs are met
- Coordinate department activities to ensure accurate and efficient operations
- Make strategic decisions around the scope of work for the team
- Partner with other leaders in the organization to evaluate, coordinate and document workflow and processes with focus on efficiency and quality
- Responsible for daily management of incoming work
Identify compliance and quality improvements and initiatives corrective actions - Work on projects related to systems, processes, or inter-department initiatives
- Participate in staff recruiting, selection, orientation, and training
- Develop staff by providing one-on-one coaching, training, and other opportunities of professional development
- Identify issues, training needs and develop and maintain processes within the department
- Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and department

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- 2+ years of experience leading presentations
- 2+ years of project management experience such as identification of resources, development and communication of objectives, successful implementation of schedules and timelines, meeting leadership and project status reporting, and review and follow up with project results
- Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (or higher)
- Knowledge of insurance industry, compliance, licensing or claims experience
- Bilingual in English and one or more of the following languages: French, Tagalog, Korean, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese
- Health insurance license
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS/SharePoint)
- Leadership experience in a production or call center environment

- Ability to provide leadership and directions
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills; able to work with team members and all levels within the organization
- Sound analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to partner with functional areas to move the work and business forward
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within Minnetonka, MN, Miami, FL, De Pere, WI OR Phoenix, AZ
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
