Product Managers at Optum Match have the unique opportunity to build a product from the ground-up. We are looking for talented product managers that are excited by the idea to contribute to the overarching vision of becoming the leading platform for personalized healthcare connections.
Product managers are expected to lead the processes and ceremonies of product development. They are expected to prioritize and manage their products with some guidance from leadership or other product team members.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product strategy, translating business goals into a clear and achievable product roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering, design, clinical research, and cross-functional teams to define detailed technical requirements. Ensure clear, actionable user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Manage technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with boarder product strategy and goals
- Prioritize the most impactful scope and work with counterparts to deliver value for users and customers, balancing strategic goals and technical feasibility
- Influences direction setting, facilitates decision making and resolves conflicts; Uses an awareness and understanding of the enterprise and its culture, partners with stakeholders to promote and support product vision and goals; achieves consensus on strategies, requirements, and roadmap
- Make thoughtful decisions motivated by data, customer feedback, market research, and technical realities
- Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile workflows to deliver on-time releases
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring successful delivery and adoption

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager or product owner with proven track record of successfully growing or scaling a product
- 3+ years of digital experience aligned with consumer-facing product and experience delivery within healthcare or retail industry
- Solid technical acumen with the ability to understand complex systems and translate business goals into technical requirements
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, including executive-level communication
- Experience with agile product development
- Highly independent and pragmatic
- Solid bias for action
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in zero-to-one product development
- Proficient in NoSQL and SQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms and architecture and integration with third-party systems

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $104,700 to $190,400 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
