Collaborating Physician Coordinator – National Remote

The Collaborating Physician Coordinator works closely with the HouseCalls Provider Relations, Centralized OnBoarding and Senior Community/Optum at Home Leadership teams to ensure that each active advanced practice clinician has a collaborating physician, and a state appropriate collaborative agreement completed and on file. The Collaborating Physician Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for the collaborating physicians, ensures that all required contract and credentialing documents are received and maintained, and handles ongoing day to day issues relating to collaborating physicians. Get ready for some significant challenge. You’ll work on technical projects that require you to perform as a consultant, supporting implementation, loading contracts and troubleshooting non-standard automation piece.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the initial description of the Collaborating Physician position to physicians interested in collaborating with a HouseCalls practitioner
- Maintaining the pipeline of collaborating physician leads
- Responsible for sending and receiving the physician contract and credentialing documents
- Initiating and properly maintaining all collaborative agreements between advanced practice clinicians and collaborating physicians within Optum Home & Community
- Ensure all relevant state rules and regulations associated with collaborative agreements are being followed
- Responsible for scheduling and completing all training activities related to the Collaborating Physician Portals
- Responsible for addressing day to day issues related to collaborating physicians, including but not limited to, assistance with the Collaborating Physician Portals
- Ensure that collaborating physicians who access the portals are completing required assessment reviews on a timely basis
- Ensuring that all agreement and licensure renewals for collaborating physicians are completed in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working with healthcare providers
- 2+ years of experience working with healthcare providers
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook including the following:
- Send/receive email
- Send attachments
- Work calendars
- Schedule appointments
- Filter, sort, manage folders
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel including the following:
- Enter data
- Filter
- Sort
- Create formulas
- Ability to do VLOOKUP
- Create Pivot Tables
- Intermediate level of proficiency with windows PC applications, this includes the ability to learn new computer applications as a primary means to perform job duties
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
- Experience collaborating with a HouseCalls practitioner
- Experience initiating and properly maintaining all collaborative agreements between advanced practice clinicians and collaborating physicians
- Experience with agreements and licensure renewals for collaborating physicians

The salary range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
