Job Role: Senior Network Consultant

Years of Experience: 10 – 12 years

Preferred Location: Any

Shift Timing (IST): Rotational

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Project Management or Design Teams to translate initial scope into actionable items
  • Support Critical Incidents or Changes over the on-call week
  • Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices
  • Provide forward thinking and be agile in adopting new technologies to meet evolving business requirements
  • Define, document and adhere to technical and operational standards
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation (e.g. standards, process, Method of Procedures, Run Books)
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • CCNA Certified
  • CCNP Certified
  • 5+ years of experience installing, troubleshooting Cisco equipment
  • Good experience with network technical concepts, devices and platforms
  • Excellent hands-on experience on LAN or WAN Enterprise Network or Datacenter Operation and intelligence on INC management
  • Excellent conceptual and hands-on experience on Routing or Switching Protocol (like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, VTP)
  • Experience to deal with ISP or Onsite Customer with good communication skills set
  • Extensive technical Troubleshoot in enterprise and Datacenter environment
  • Excellent knowledge of high-end Switches or Nexus or Router hardware parts
  • Knowledge on Enterprise/Datacenter Infrastructure like Flex pod or VBLOCK Model and Process, Tools like ITILV3, Rally-Agile, HPNA ,NNMI, BCI
  • Good understanding on Monitoring tools like NNMI, Splunk, Open view etc.
  • Willing or open for 24/7/365 day Flexible shift

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CCNP with Graduation degree
  • CCIE 
  • Datacenter infrastructure or Virtualization knowledge
