The Principal Marketing Data Analyst role is a key role that will be accountable for solving for unique and complex needs/opportunities for E&I B2C Marketing Analytics and Reporting assets for our B2C Marketing and Sales Enablement Business Partners. This role will primarily be involved with our Marketing Evolution program in leading large/complex projects to build the future state reporting and analytics assets. This role is expected to identify and initiate opportunities for innovation, data quality enhancements, process improvements and automation all contributing to enhancing the operational excellence of the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective and strategic reporting and analytical solutions to enable data driven decisions
• Evaluate and present information in a manner that will facilitate clients understanding of the results and impacts
• Manage relationships with key business partners of across marketing/sales groups
• Demonstrated ability to lead large/complex reporting/analytics projects, effectively gather requirements, probe for deeper understanding, and translate deep technical concepts to non-technical as well as technical senior stakeholders, marketing customers, and data analytics teams 
• Build/review complex visualization solutions, data files/extracts, and deliver insights to clients
• Develop, implement, enhance, maintain existing Data visualization solutions
• Self-motivated professional who can operate independently and produce results
• Solid data visualization and/or data analysis acumen
• Effective interpersonal influence and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders
• Solid communication skills and experience working across many levels of an organization

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience utilizing SQL
• 5+ years of experience performing data analysis
• 3+ years of experience in at least two of the Data visualizations/Reporting tools (Adobe Customer Journey Analytics CJA, Tableau, PowerBI)
• 2+ years in building key reporting/analytics capabilities for reporting and analytics assets on reporting/analytics platforms
• 2+ years of experience working in global team environment – working with onshore/nearshore/offshore teams
• Experience with role-based security/access, reports/dashboards distribution (batch, interactive), subscriptions, designing solutions and optimizing assets for performance and meeting SLAs 
• Proficient user skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health Care Insurance experience
• Marketing & Sales domain experience
• CJA skills
• Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients
• Ability to prioritize deliverables

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
