This unique Sr. Director of Human Resources position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key voice in shaping the future of the UHC Hearing business. You will have the chance to influence and drive strategic HR initiatives that will define the company’s culture and align people to business objectives. This role provides a platform for an experienced HR professional to contribute across a broad range of priorities, including the transition and implementation of payroll and benefits, workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and employee experience. Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals and objectives. Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team on all HR-related matters.
Transition Management: Serve as the primary HR contact for the employee agreement between UHC and UHC Hearing, leading efforts to establish payroll, HRIS and benefits systems. Facilitate smooth transitions by working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations and effective implementation of HR processes.
Talent Acquisition: Develop the organizational talent strategy, talent plans and leverage the supply chain of internal and external talent. Drives business talent strategy and plans by applying talent acquisition, workforce planning, total rewards and inclusion, equity and diversity practices to drive talent outcomes.
Compensation Planning: Oversee the end-to-end strategy, governance and policies for maintaining competitive and equitable pay and benefits across a geographically diverse population
HR Generalist Functions: Oversee all HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, onboarding and offboarding, compensation and benefits, HR systems, and compliance with employment laws.
Data and Analytics: Leverages data and analytics skills to drive decision making and action. Designs, develops and deploys solutions through on-going analysis and tying multiple data sets together to recommend action aligned with business strategies.
Culture and Employee Experience: Deep understanding of culture, diversity and the drivers impacting a positive employee experience. Fosters inclusion, diversity and culture practices to create and maintain a positive, rewarding, and inclusive environment.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Integrates, aligns, and embed diversity, equity, and inclusion Strategies within the people strategy and all aspects of HR teamwork
Call Center HR Support: Develop HR strategies tailored to the unique needs of call center operations, focusing on performance and employee satisfaction. Address challenges specific to a remote call center environment.

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience: Extensive experience in HR roles, with a focus on leadership and strategic HR initiatives.
- Talent Strategy Development: Experience in developing and executing talent strategies aligned with organizational culture and employee experience to achieve business objectives.
- Workforce Strategy Implementation: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing workforce strategies that align with and drive business outcomes.
- Data and Analytics Expertise: Proven ability to apply data and analytics to influence decision-making and drive business outcomes.
- Organizational Design and Change Management: Experience in leading organizational design efforts and implementing effective change management practices.
- Leadership Development: Proven competence in developing and driving the talent agenda, including building a strong leadership bench.
- Consulting and Influencing Skills: Strong consulting skills with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of critical stakeholders.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Expertise: Experience in integrating DEI strategies into HR practices and driving initiatives that foster an inclusive work environment.
- Labor laws: Broad knowledge of federal and state labor laws to support a geographically disbursed telecommuter employee base

The salary range for this role is $ $150,200 to $ $288,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
